Qatar hosts Indian Mango Festival in Doha's Souq Waqif marketplace

A significant number of enthusiasts visited the Indian Mango Festival, also known as Indian Hamba, at Souq Waqif marketplace in Qatar's capital city Doha recently.

The event was inaugurated amidst a distinguished gathering, including Ibrahim Fakhroo, Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Nasser Rashid Al Naimi, Managing Director of the Public Establishment for Organising Exhibitions and Conferences, reported ANI.

The event is taking place in the city from May 30 to June 8.

Expressing enthusiasm over the large number of visitors, the Indian Embassy in Qatar posted on X: "Indian Mango Festival at Souq Waqif is attracting 1000s of visitors. Event is Organized by Souq Waqif &Indian Embassy, from May 30-June 8. Enjoy fresh mangoes & delicacies from Alphonso, Kesar, Badam, Mallika & other varieties. "
