Kolkata/IBNS: Wonderchef launched the world's first automated tea maker on Friday in presence of the celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

Chai Magic is based on the essentials of a ménage and is a corollary of two years of research work. It has been designed specifically for Indian style tea.

The tea maker was presented by one of the co-founders of Wonderchef Ravi Saxena, apart from Sanjeev Kapoor.

Chef Sanjeev Kapoor said, “We all love or may I say are addicted to tea. Making tea is easy but also difficult in some ways. So to make it easily perfect, we're here with Chai Magic. It's one of its kind in the world.”

The launch event also showcased the process of making the tea with a few spectators in a participatory session.

The entire tea making procedure has ensured that it is an easy to use machine.

“City of Joy, I think is the perfect place to launch this product. It is a cradle of tea, I would say because the best tea comes from West Bengal. So there can't be any other better place," chef Sanjeev Kapoor added.

Wonderchef is set to launch its latest product, Chai Magic, in the coming weeks.

Priced at Rs. 4,900, the product will be available across leading retail outlets nationwide, as well as on the brand’s official online store.
