Kolkata/IBNS: Ambuja Neotia recently hosted the 2nd B.V. Doshi Memorial Exhibition in Kolkata, spotlighting architect Girish Doshi, and launched the annual Prabir Mitra Memorial Award, with the first award conferred on SQUARE for culturally rooted, contemporary practice.

The exhibition was held at Kalavaani, Swabhumi; August 29–September 14, 2025.

The theme was “Celebrating the Life and Work of Architect Girish Doshi,” featuring sketches, models, photographs, and reflective essays on simplicity, structural integrity, and connected spatial experiences.

The initiative honoured B.V. Doshi, India’s first Pritzker Laureate, continues an annual August tribute aligned with his birthday month; last year’s edition framed his legacy and influence on Indian modernism.
