Acropolis Mall holds sweets festival with Hangla Heshel

Kolkata/IBNS: Buoyed by the overwhelming love for sweets of the foodies of Kolkata, Acropolis Mall in south Kolkata has organised a sweets festival from Jan 23 to 26

Ten sweet makers of the city- namely The Galley, Nalin Chandra Das & Sons, Sri Krishna Mistanna Bhandar, Lokenath Sweets, Millie's, Mishti Katha, Gopal er Moya, Kulfiwala - Baleshwar Kulfi, Bhim Nag’s Brother Sreenath Nag, Bhim Nag’s Brother Sreenath Nag (Snacks).

They displayed varieties of lip smacking sweets and desserts.             

The centre of attraction of the Mishti Masti food festival was a cooking competition where members of Calcutta Foodies Club participated in two batches.

Baishaki Mukherjee, culinary expert , Sanjib Sahoo, chef from Afra, graced the occasion to  judge the competition and to present prizes to the winners.

K Vijayan, GM, Acropolis said, “At Acropolis we have been innovating and organizing varieties of festivals. Mishti Masti is a great success. We have decided to hold the festival keeping in mind  the foodies of Kolkata who love to pamper their palate."
