US consulate hosts Green Fair in Kolkata

Kolkata, Nov 20 (IBNS): The US Consulate Kolkata in collaboration with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), hosted its first Green Fair on Friday at the American Centre in Kolkata.
The fair was a part of the US government's global climate change awareness campaign and its theme was- "Think Globally, Act Locally".
 
Mayor of Indiana's Carmel city in the US, James Brainard and US Consul General of Kolkata Craig Hall were present at the event here.
 
Green-tech models for renewable energy, green finance options and environmental initiatives for healthier neighborhoods were highlighted at the Green Fair.
