Maharashtra: Tremors felt in Palghar district

Palghar/UNI: A light tremor was felt at Paraswadi in Dahanu taluka in Palghar district Monday morning.

The Chief of the Palghar District Disaster Control Cell, Vivekanand Kadam said a tremor measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale occurred at 0807 hrs.

As per preliminary reports, no report of any damage or any casualty was reported so far, he said.

On Friday and Saturday last, there were at least four tremors which were recorded in the district all in Dahanu and the maximum of them was 4.0 on the Richter scale.
