Kolkata shivers at 11.6 degree celsius
Kolkata, Dec 28 (IBNS) With the city gearing up for new year celebration this week, the mercury in Kolkata dipped to 11.6 degree celsius on Sunday, officials said.
The temperature was two notches below normal.
The maximum temperature in the city was 23.7 degree celsius, which was four notches below the normal mark.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the minimum temperature in the city will be around 12 degree celsius on Monday.
