Kolkata continues to shiver

Kolkata, Dec 27 (IBNS): Kolkata continued to feel the chill as the mercury dropped to 11.7 degree celsius on Saturday.

The minimum temperature touched 11.7  degree celsius, which was two notches below normal.

The maximum temperature in the city was 22.3 degree celsius, which was four notches below the normal mark.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the minimum temperature in the city will be 11 degree celsius on Sunday.

Kolkata experienced the coldest day of the season as the mercury dropped to 11.4 degrees Celsius on Friday.
