5 magnitude earthquake hits Japan, no casualty
Tokyo, Nov 27 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.0 struck Japan's southern Ibaraki Prefecture on Tuesday, weather officials said.
As per the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the epicentre of the quake was located at latitude of 36.1 degrees north and longitude of 139.9 degrees east and occurred at a depth of 50 km.
The quake hit at a local time of 8:33 am.
No casualty or significant damage to property has been reported so far.
No tsunami warning has been issued.
