Mumbai, May 13 (IBNS) With exit polls predicting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form the Delhi government under Narendra Modi's prime ministerialship, the BSE Sensex on Tuesday touched a record high as it surged 370 points.
The benchmark Nifty jumped over 100 points and traded above 7,100 levels.
With Tuesday's new high, the Sensex needs to move only 80 points more to hit the psychological 24,000 mark.
