Rupee down 30 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday tumbled down by 30 paise to 71.94 in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen weak on strong dollar against other world currencies dealer informed.
A major fluctuation was seen in early trade today, as local unit registered intra day high and low at 71.90 and 71.62 respectively, they added.
