Paytm and Star Health Insurance enter into corporate agency tie-up

Chennai/New Delhi: Digital payments leader Paytm and Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd., (Star Health), a health insurance company in India, have announced their corporate agency partnership to provide Star Health’s comprehensive health insurance offerings to Paytm customers across the country.

The agreement was inked at the Head Office of Paytm by Star Health & Allied Ins. Co Ltd and Paytm.

Amit Nayyar, President, Paytm said “It is critical to have a deep understanding of the customer needs and offer them products tailored to their requirements. At Paytm, we are committed to offer health insurance options to our millions of customers in the age of expensive medical treatments, while making a convenient customer journey from purchase to claim. We believe Star Health is the best partner to help us deliver best in class customized products and seamless customer experience.”

Anand Roy, Joint Managing Director of Star Health who was present on the occasion said, “This partnership is an important move towards our expansion strategy which includes a strong distribution network backed by technological innovations to take health insurance to every individual present in any city or town across the country.”

He assured that with this tie-up Star Health has stamped the commitment for creating customised health insurance solutions for the Indian consumers while leveraging on the digital platforms created by both the organisations to ensure seamless insurance transactions.
