Indian Rupee gains by 7 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday gained further by seven paise to 71.25 against the US Dollar on brisk selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, the dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that increased by twelve paise to 71.21 in opening trade closed at 71.25, up by seven paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.28 and 71.17 respectively.
The Rupee was seen firm on weak Dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding equity market, they added.
