Indian Rupee rises 5 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday moved up by five paise to at 71.31 against the greenback on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that opened on a flat note at 71.36, ended positive at 71.31, advancing by 5 paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.40 and 71.29 respectively.
The Rupee rose on weak Dollar against other world currencies despite negative equity market, they added.
