Indian Rupee slips by 7 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday slipped by seven paise to settle at 74.82 against the US Dollar on rising demand for the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The domestic unit that rose by six paise to 74.69, later it fell and settled at 74.82, sliding by seven paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen weak due to firm Dollar against other world currencies, the dealers further said.

It registered intra days high and low at 74.86 and 74.66 respectively, they added.
