Indian Rupee recovers 6 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday recovered by six paise to close at 73.47 against the US Dollar on selling of greenback by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that rose by 14 paise to 73.39 in early trade, finished at 73.47, rising by six paise

as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee improved because of weak Dollar against other world currencies, amid positive stock market, they further said.

The Rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.51 and 73.36 respectively, the dealers added.
