Indian Rupee falls 7 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday declined by seven paise to 74.83 against the US Dollar on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers,dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that slipped by 20 paise to 74.96 in early trade, slightly improved from opening level but

finished negative only at 74.83, down by 7 paise as compared to its last close.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.98 and 74.80 respectively, they said.

The Rupee remained under pressure because of strong Dollar against other world currencies, they added.
