Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday declined by six paise to end at 74.83 against the US Dollar on rising demand US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

A local unit that eased by four paise to 74.81 in opening trade lost further and finished at 74.83, sliding by six paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen weak today owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies, dealers said.

The rupee registered intraday high and low at 74.86 and 74.78 respectively, he added.
