Indian Rupee ends positive at 71.53 against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday jumped by 13 paise to 71.53 on fresh selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.
The local unit that fell by 12 paise to 71.78 in early trade, erased losses and jumped by 13 paise to close high at 71.53 as compared to its last close.
A major oscillation was seen during the day, as it registered day high and low at 71.81 and 71.53 respectively.
The Indian currency rallied on weak dollar against other world currencies along with rebounding equity market, they added.
