Indian Rupee declines by 4 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Thursday eased by four paise to close negative at 75.75against the greenback on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.

The local unit that fell by 17 paise to 75.88 in opening trade, slightly recovered from opening level during the day, but ended negative only at 76.75, down marginally by four paise as compared to its previous close.

A fluctuation was seen during the session as it registered days high and low at 75.90 and 75.72 during the day.

The Indian currency eased owing to firm Dollar against other world currencies, dealers added.
