Indian Market: Sensex down 421.82 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) on Wednesday nosedived by 421.82 points to settle at 38,071.13 following selling pressure in Energy, Auto, IT, Oil and Gas and Technology stocks.

The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange(NSE) too fell by 97.70 pts to 11,202.85.

The Sensex registered the days high and low at 38,617.03 and 37,884.41 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded the days high and low at 11,341.40 and 11,149.75 pts respectively.
