Century Plyboards (I) reports 3pc revenue increase in the Third Quarter of Financial Year 2019-20
Kolkata/UNI: Plywood maker Century Plyboards (I) reported a revenue increase of 3 per cent in the Third Quarter of Financial Year 2019-20.
Highlights of the result:
Net Revenue from operations for Third Quarter, ending 31st December, 2019-20 Fiscal Year, was Rs. 595.42 cr an increase of 3% over corresponding period of last Financial Year Rs. 578.89 cr.
Profit after Tax for the Quarter ending 31st December, 2019-20 was Rs. 19.09 cr. showing a Decrease of (54%) over corresponding period of last Financial Year Rs. 41.41 cr, mainly profit reduced due to impairment of assets of overseas Laos unit taken amouting to Rs. 45.63 cr.
MDF Division have performed exceptionally well during the Quarter under review. All other divisions were stable and performed consistently.
Commenting on the Company’s Performance, Mr. Keshav Bhajanka, Executive Director, Century Plyboards(I) Ltd said, “ Our standard performer is MDF, gaining almost 10% growth in terms of volume where the EBITDA figure has been more than 25%. We are looking forward to 10-20% return in the last quarter as well.”
