Vietnamese tourist tests positive for COVID-19 in Cambodia, 119 in total

Phnom Penh/Xinhua/UNI: Cambodia on Friday confirmed a Vietnamese female-tourist had tested positive for the COVID-19, increasing the total number of the confirmed cases in the country to 119.

According to a Ministry of Health statement, the new patient, 34, stayed at a condo in capital Phnom Penh's Diamond Island.

"The COVID-19 positive woman has been placed under quarantine for treatment at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital (in Phnom Penh)," the statement said.

Cambodia had seen four more COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital after recovery by the end of Thursday, raising the tally of patients cured in the kingdom to 72, the statement added.
