US: Suspect shot amid reported shooting at Walmart

Texas, June 15 (IBNS) A suspect was apparently shot dead by the police as a shooting was reported inside a Wal-Mart store in Amarillo, Texas, officials said.

The Amarillo Police Department said in a statement: "

Suspect has been shot by APD SWAT and is apparently dead."

"Hostages inside are safe," read the statement.

Investigation into the matter is currently underway.
