US Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard asks Pakistani leaders to stop giving safe haven to terrorists
Washington, Mar 3 (IBNS): US Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard on Sunday criticised Pakistan and said time has come for the country's leaders to stop giving safe haven to the terrorists.
At a time when relationship between India and Pakistan has touched new low following the Pulwama attack on Feb 14, Gabbard took to Twitter to suggest Pakistani leaders to act against the extremists and terrorists.
Tulsi tweeted: "As long as Pakistan is providing terrorists with a safe haven, there will be heightened tensions between the two countries. It's time for Pakistan's leaders to stand up against the extremists and terrorists."

"My heart goes out to the families of the suicide bombing victims in India & the many victims of terror from these same groups that have killed hundreds of Indian and Pakistani civilians over the years. It's time for Pakistan's leaders to stop giving safe haven to these terrorists," she said.

Abhinandan: India's new story of bravery
Last week relationship between the two neighbouring nations deteriorated after India Air Force jets targeted a terrorist camp across the Line of Control.
The arrest and then release of IAF piot Abhinandan was another crucial point in the growing tension between the nuclear weapons armed neighbouring countries.
After hours of delay, Varthaman, who was captured by Pakistan two days ago after he parachuted down from his MiG 21 jet in flames across the LoC, returned to India on Friday through the Wagah border, a day after Pakistan announced to release the pilot in what it called a peace gesture amid global pressures on the neighbour to conform to international laws like Geneva Conventions.
Abhinandan arrived to a hero's welcome to India with a huge crowd gathered at the Wagah Border, which lies on the historic Grand Trunk Road between Lahore and Amritsar in India, cheering his return.

On Feb 14, a terror attack in Kashmir's Pulwama area left 40 Indian paramilitary forces personnel killed.

The incident was criticised by Indian political leaders and by several nations across the globe.
India blamed Pakistan for the incident.
