Washington DC, Oct 11 (IBNS): The United States, in a 'show of force' against North Korea, flew two supersonic heavy bombers over the Korean peninsula, according to media reports on Wednesday.

Two US B-1 bombers, on Tuesday, carried out a training exercise with Japanese and South Korean military aircraft, amid growing tension over North Korea's nuclear programs, media reported.

The media quoted a statement released on Tuesday by Defense Secretary James Mattis and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford  saying that US President Donald Trump has been briefed on how to deal with the Kim regime.
