US First Lady Melania Trump won't attend G7 summit: Reports

Washington, June 4 (IBNS): US First Lady Melania Trump is not going to attend  G7 summit this year, media reports said.

According to reports, she is not going to join US President Donald Trump  when he travels to Singapore for the planned June 12 summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

First lady Melania Trump will not attend the G7 summit this year or join the President when he travels to Singapore for the planned June 12 summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, her spokeswoman tells CNN.

The First Lady underwent a medical procedure to treat a benign kidney issue on May 14.

The G7 Summit will take place in Quebec, Canada from June 8-9.
