UN chief condemns rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza

New York, Jun 5 (IBNS): Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Thursday has condemned the firing of rockets by militants from Gaza towards Israel which occurred on Wednesday.

Ban has called on all parties to avoid further escalation and prevent incidents that jeopardise the lives of Israeli and Palestinian civilians, said a statement released by the UN chief's spokesperson At Headquarters in New York.
