Moscow, Apr 26 (Sputnik/UNI) The UK police said in a Friday statement that two men arrested earlier in the week on suspicion of terrorism offenses remain in custody.
On Wednesday, the police arrested a 20-year-old man in London. On Thursday, a 19-year-old man was arrested as part of the same operation.

"Two men who were arrested as part of an investigation by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command remain in police custody … Searches were carried at both the south-west and west London addresses and these are now complete. Both arrests are Syria-related," the statement reads.

The police noted that a warrant of further detention regarding the first arrestee had been granted for an additional five days, meaning the man can remain in custody up until 1 May.
