Kuwait City/Paris/Tunis, June 26 (IBNS): Terrorist attacks in three nations- France, Kuwait and Tunis- left several people dead and triggered panic across continents on Friday.

In Kuwait, at least 25 people were killed in a suicide attack in a mosque in Kuwait City.

More than 200 people were injured in the suicide bombing in the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque.

The imam of Al-Sadiq mosque Sheikh Hamed Hadi Al-Saleh told Kuwait Times, "A suicide bomber entered the mosque. During the sujoud, he shouted 'Allahu Akbar' three times and blew himself up near worshippers in the back rows. People sitting on chairs were the closest to him, and thus most affected."

"Today's attack was immediately claimed by a group in Saudi Arabia affiliated with Islamic State militants. The Al Nadj Province group, an offshoot of IS, named the bomber as Abu Suleiman Al-Muwahhid," Kuwait Times reported.

In another attack, an attacker attacked a factory in French city Lyon.

Police have found a decapitated man from the factory.
The attacker reportedly rammed his car in the factory which caused explosion and left two others injured.

In a statement, France's anti-terror prosecutor said an investigation was opened into the attack, which  was carried out by "a terrorist group."

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, who is on an official trip to South America has ordered heightened security near the gas factory.

France had witnessed an attack in January when gunmen fired indiscriminately at the office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo leaving 12 people dead.

A policewoman and four hostages in a Jewish supermarket were also killed during the three-day attacks.

At least 28 people were killed and several others were injured in an attack on two hotels in Tunisia on Friday.

Tunisia's Interior Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Al Aroui told media that an attacker was also killed during the exchange of fire with police.
