Teen arrested for allegedly raping a girl

Dhaka, Sept 16 (IBNS): One person has been arrested for allegedly raping a second-grader schoolgirl at Phulbari village in Magura's Mohammadpur upazila of Bangladesh, media reports said.

The arrested person was identified as 19-year-old  Sadirul Islam.

Tarok Nath Biswash, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur police station, Prothom Alo newspaper Sabirul entered the house of the victim in the afternoon and raped her while she was alone at her home. 

Locals rushed to the house and rescued her after hearing her screaming.

Sadirul escaped from the place.

A case has been filed in connection with the matter.
