Sri Lankan official says all those involved in Easter Sunday attacks have been arrested or killed

Colombo, May 7 (IBNS):  Acting Inspector General of Sri Lankan Police C.D. Wickremaratne on on Monday said all those, who were involved in the recent terror attacks in the Island Nation on Easter Sunday, have been identified and all of them were either arrested or killed.

He said two bomb experts were killed in the attack.

“All those terrorists directly involved in the bombings are either dead or under arrest,” the Acting IGP was quoted as saying by Daily Mirror.

Sri Lankan witnessed a major attack on Easter Sunday last month when eight blasts rocked the country and left 253 people killed.

The Islamic State took responsibility for the incidents.

The blasts were condemned by world leaders.
