Somalia: Explosion creates hole, plane makes emergency landing

Mogadishu, Feb 3 (IBNS): A plane made an emergency landing at an airport in Somalian capital Mogadishu after it developed a hole in its fuselage on Tuesday, media reports said.

The hole was reportedly created inside the plane due to an explosion.

The hole in the plane's side appeared shortly after take-off from Mogadishu at 10,000ft (3,048m), a colleague of one of the passengers told the BBC.

According to reports, the Daallo Airlines flight was on its way to Djibouti when the incident occurred.

Passengers who were flying in the flight were reportedly safe.
