Kabul, Jan 25 (IBNS): At least six people have been killed in the Save the Children NGO attack in Jalalabad city in Afghanistan, reports said.

According to a statement by the NGO, three staffers have been killed during the ambush, while local Tolo News reported that four Save the Children staffers along with a security personnel and a civilian were killed.

Earlier, the death toll was placed at two.

In addition, 25 people have sustained injuries while dozens have been rescued by government forces.

The attack has been claimed by the so called Islamic State.
