Saudi Arabia : Four killed as attack on police station foiled

Riyadh, Apr 21 (Xinhua/UNI) Saudi Arabia has foiled a terrorist attack north Riyadh, killing four attackers, Al Arabiya TV reported on Sunday.

The attack targeted the General Directorate of Investigation Centre in al-Zulfi suburb around 250 km north of Riyadh.

 

Sources confirmed to the TV channel that the attackers carried machine guns, bombs and Molotov cocktails.


The Kingdom reported early this month the death of two terrorists and the arrest of other two while foiling an attempt to evade a security checkpoint in the Eastern Provence.

 

Some civilians and police personnel were injured in cross fire.
