Roadside bomb targets car in Syrian capital, 1 killed

Damascus, Jul 22 (Xinhua/UNI) A roadside bomb hit a car in a Damascus' neighborhood Monday, killing the driver, state news agency SANA reported.

The bomb ripped through the car in the al-Qadam neighborhood, said the report, with no further details about the bombing.

Last month, an explosive device went off in Damascus, wounding a woman and her child.

On June 15, 2019, an explosion caused by an accidental fire took place inside a military base west of Damascus. On Jan 20, an explosion took place on the southern highway in Damascus.
