Ramzan: People in Karachi facing hardships amid ongoing gas crisis

| @indiablooms | Apr 01, 2023, at 10:44 pm

People in Pakistan's Karachi are facing troubles in the month of Ramzan amid a gas crisis across the city.

With the non-availability of gas even at the time of Sehri and Iftar, people are forced to face hardship as they are needed to depend on costly LPG cylinders and wood to face the challenges.

On Thursday, enraged people took to the street, though in small numbers, in some parts of the city cursing the Sui Southern Gas Company for piling miseries on them in the holy month, reports Dawn News.

While complaints very low pressure or no supply of gas at Sehri and Iftar timings kept on pouring in from every known locality of the city, the gas utility’s complaint service, 1199, appeared not accessible, the newspaper reported.

Even netizens have flooded the social media platforms with posts complaining about the tough condition created due to the lack of gases.
