Prince William-Kate expecting second child

London, Sept 8 (IBNS): Prince Williams and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton are expecting their second child, officials said on Monday.

Their first child  Prince George   was born in 2013. He turned a year-old on July 22 this year.

In its Facebook page, The British Monarchy announced: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."

It said that Kate Middleton is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum and the doctors are treating her  at Kensington Palace.

"As with her first pre...gnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace," The  British Monarchy said.

Prince William and  Kate Middleton's second child will be the fourth in like to the British throne. 

Prince William had married Kate Middleton in 2011 after a long courtship.

Congratulating the couple, the British Prime Minister tweeted: " Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I'm delighted by the happy news that they're expecting another baby."
