| @indiablooms | Jun 15, 2024, at 11:55 pm

Activists of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) recently demonstrated in Pallandri region of the Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the excessive use of force and arrest of Kashmiri activists.

They demanded the immediate release of the arrested individuals.

PoJK has seen an increase in the detention of Kashmiri activists.

The arrests have triggered widespread protests.

The motives behind these detentions vary, ranging from political dissent to advocating for the rights of Kashmiris. Such actions highlight the broader issues concerning freedom of expression and civil liberties in the region, reported ANI.
