Phone-hacking trial: Rebekah Brooks cleared

London, June 24 (IBNS): A court here cleared former News International CEO Rebekah Brooks off all charges in the phone-hacking trial on Tuesday, media reports said.

While, her former colleague Andy Coulson has been found found guilty of phone hacking.

"Former News of the World editor Andy Coulson has been found guilty of conspiracy to hack phones. His predecessor Rebekah Brooks was cleared of all charges in the phone-hacking trial," BBC reported.

The trial into the phone-hacking scandal, which involved Rupert Murdoch's media empire in the UK, ended after nearly eight months.
