Paris: Fire at apartment block kills ten people, injures many

Paris, Feb 6 (IBNS): Ten people, including a child, have died while many were injured in a fire at an eight-storey building in Paris, media reports said.

The building is resided in south-western Paris.

More than 30 people including six firefighters were injured.

One injured person is in a serious condition.

Fifty people have been evacuated with the help of a ladder.

French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, "France wakes up in emotion after the fire on rue Erlanger in Paris tonight. Thoughts for the victims. Thanks to the firefighters whose courage saved many lives."
