Muzaffargarh: A marriage dispute in Leshariwala locality in Pakistan turned violent when minor girls were set ablaze, media reports said on Sunday.

Hafiz Abdul Hameed along with his family was asleep when suspect Fida Hussain and his accomplices entered the house, held the couple hostage and set ablaze their four children, reports Dawn News.

Their two daughters Urwa (2) and Uswa succumbed to their burns on the spot while two others were shifted to the DHQ Hospital, the newspaper reported.

The suspects reportedly beat up Hameed and his wife after they sought help from neighbours.

Some months back, Hameed had contracted a second marriage with Fida’s daughter. Hameed had divorced the suspect's daughter after a panchayat ordered so last week, the Pakistani news paper reported.

Police have registered a case against Fida and three others under sections 302, 148, 149, 324 and 436 of PPC and Anti-Terrorism Act (7-ATA) and arrested the main suspect and two others, reports Dawn News.
