According to authorities, local residents spotted the two unattended bodies in the river on Friday evening and alerted the administration, Dawn News reported.

One of the deceased was identified as Imran, who had reportedly been missing since June 25, 2025. The identity of the second victim has yet to be established.

Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
