Pakistan: Sobah Hazara Tehreek chairman asks PM Imran Khan to honour commitment on Hazara province

Mansehra, Pakistan: Sobah Hazara Tehreek chairman Sardar Mohammad Yusuf has asked Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to honour the commitment of making the Hazara division a completely separate province.

“Not only the prime minister but also the leadership of other political parties had committed that Hazara division would be given the status of a separate federating unit, so they should now honour their commitments,” Yusuf told mediapersons on Saturday as quoted by The Dawn.

He said creation of more federating units was important for good governance, and asked the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government to constitute a commission for the purpose.

Yusuf said Senate chairman Sadiq Sangrni even took up the issue - Hazara province - with the PM.

“The provincial assembly has also unanimously approved the Hazara province resolution," he was quoted as saying by The Dawn.
