Pakistan security forces 'abduct' two youths from Balochistan

Two young men were abducted in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, continuing the trend of enforced disappearance in the country.

They were allegedly kidnapped by Pakistani security forces.

On the morning of July 11, 19-year-old student Ashfaq s/o Mushtaq was reportedly detained by personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) from A-One City Phase 2, Quetta, reported The Balochistan Post.

Ashfaq, a resident of Mashkay in Awaran district, has been described by his family members as a student who had no political affiliation.

An eyewitness told the news portal that the security forces took him away, and still, he remains untraced.

In a separate incident, Awaz Hassan s/o Hassan was reportedly forcibly disappeared from Arz Muhammad Bazaar in Hoshab, the news portal reported.

According to reports, Pakistani forces conducting an operation in the area detained the victim.
