Pakistan's Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced it will observe a three-day sit-in demonstration in Pakistan's Lahore city to protest against rising inflation.

The sit-in protest will begin on Thursday.

During the demonstration, party workers will reach outside the governor’s house from Al-Hamra Hall.

The JI Ameer Siraj Ulhaq, senior leaders including Liaquat Baloch, Ameerul Azeem and other provincial leaders will address the sit-in, reports ARY News.

The party had earlier observed a sit-in against the inflated electricity bills and soaring inflation.
