Pakistan: Imran Khan's ally MQM-P forges ties with PML-N

| @indiablooms | Dec 18, 2021, at 09:19 pm

Islamabad/UNI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government's key coalition partner, MQM-Pakistan, is maintaining cordial relations with Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), said Syed Amin Ul Haque, Federal Minister from MQM-P.

The News International on Saturday quoted Syed Amin Ul Haque as confirming that his party was enjoying friendly ties with the PML-N, which is Prime Minister Imran Khan's main rival party.

The minister has been supporting the PML-N in the parliament in any issue, including on the matter of granting permission to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for leaving abroad for treatment.

The Pakistan newspaper quoted sources close to the MQM-P as saying that the party hasn’t received an invitation to visit London for a meeting with Nawaz Sharif but once the invitation is extended, the party would consider it positively.
