Pakistan: Explosion rocks Parachinar city, 25 killed

New Delhi, Jan 21 (IBNS): A powerful explosion rocked Parachinar city in Pakistan which killed at least 25 people on Saturday, media reports said.

According to reports, the incident left 30 others injured.

The blast occurred in a marketplace.

The explosion occurred early morning around 8:50AM at the city's Eidgah market, where a large number of people were shopping for fruits and vegetables, Geo News reported.

Pakistani politician Imran Khan tweeted: "Strongly condemn blast in Parachinar targeting innocent civilians. Intel & security for public places must be strengthened."
