Pakistan: Cop shot dead in Quetta

A head constable was gunned down in Pakistan's Nawan Killi area on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Ziaur Rehman.

According to police, the armed men raiding motorbikes targeted the police official when he was passing through the bypass area, Dawn News,

The man received multiple bullet shots and died on the spot.

Police reached the spot and shifted the body of the cop to the hospital.

His body was later handed over to the family members.

No group has claimed responsibility.

This is the third killing of a cop in a similar manner in the country this month.
