Islamabad, July 24 (IBNS) Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist acts in Afghanistan capital Kabul that resulted in the loss of 'number of precious human lives while injuring several others'.

"The Government and the people of Pakistan extend their sincere condolences and profound sympathies to the families of the bereaved people and convey their earnest prayers and wishes for early recovery of those injured in this heinous act of terrorism," read a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Pakistan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all forms and manifestations and reaffirms commitment for continued efforts and cooperation for eliminating this menace," it said.

The deadly attack in Kabul on Saturday left at least 80 people killed.

Militant group IS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
